Jay Q discovered House music in the summer of 1993. At that time 2 Unlimited's "No Limit' dominated the charts. Also Leila K's "Open Sesame' and "Give It Up' produced by The Good Men were one of Jay Q's favourite records.
In 1997 Jay Q's first radio show was a fact. For 11 years he served the local radio. Within these years he learned to mix dance music. In 2005 his first life performance was there. He performed on party's with Dj's like Marcel Woods,Gregor Salto and Sidney Samson in the line up.
In 2008 Jay Q joined Radio Hitec. Every week on wednesday 15:00 C.E.T. ; he presented different styles of dance music like techno,trance,house,tech house and progressive house.

In 2012 he joined the local radio again. The next 2 years he presented his mixes through the program D-Fusion On Air. At the moment he is concentrating on producing his own tracks.
